Whatever covenant promises God had in Abraham becomes irrelevant if Christ did not die. In other word if Christ did not die, nobody can partake in the Abrahamic blessing beyond Abraham and his seed. Christianity would therefore have been vain and vague – with nothing to look forward to. Several portion of the covenant read:

“…and I will bless thee;
...unto thy seed have I given this land;
 ...and I will establish my covenant between
me and thee and thy seed…’’
Genesis 12:2; 15:18; 17:7

Thank God Jesus Christ Died! By his death; we who have been sanctified and born again become joint-heirs with him, because we are baptized into His death and consequently His  resurrection. So, everything that Jesus has is also ours. But if He did not die no Christian  would be a partaker  of His blessings and glory. Just as a son does not have access to the inheritance of his father until he dies, neither can we have access to the inheritance of Jesus until He dies.

By His death therefore, we have access to the salvation package – healing, blessing, long life, protection etc. But He did not only die to give us legal right to His inheritance according to His will but He also resurrected to ensure that we get all that He left us in His Will!.
If you have read this book up to this point, perhaps, you would have formed an opinion in your mind that there is a disconnect between paragraph one and paragraph two. You are probably correct.

But then there lies the beauty of this book – THE BENEFITS OF CHRIST’S DEATH. The author cleverly wove the old testament’s covenant promises to Abraham and his seed and the new testament fulfillment of these promises in the believers who are the followers of Jesus Christ, (who was referred to in the old testament as the seed of Abraham). Apostle Paul’s revelation on the subject goes thus:

“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the Law, being made a curse for us it is written cursed is every one that is hangeth on a tree. That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ, that we might receive the promise of the spirit through faith…Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not And to SEEDS as of MANY but as of ONE, and to they SEED, which is Christ”. Galatians 3:13-16

The conclusion from the foregoing is that Abraham’s Blessing are our through Jesus Christ.
I see Prince Adepetu as a great author, an inspiring writer and one with deep insight into the revelations of scripture.  The book is well researched and awe-inspiring. It provides an arsenal of healing tools that will help any sick or afflicted person get out of his or her infirmity and live a vibrant and victorious life.
